> Hey guys this summer I went parasailing in California. Very fun experience. But as I looked through my photos I thought about physics and how there's a force holding me up 800ft In the air.The rope with is extended from the boat once it reaches it's maximum height of 800ft is at equilibrium. The forces working on the rope is force of tension on rope and force of gravity. There's also gravitational energy. At 800ft I went from having kinetic energy when going up and then gravitational energy once I'm in the air. Pretty cool right? Well I think so
